Himalayan Wild Honey

From NPR 800

Gathered seasonally from the high forests of Western Nepal at 2,800–3,500 metres, our Wild Himalayan Honey is harvested by local communities in Dolpa, Jajarkot, and Mugu using generations of traditional knowledge. Wild bees forage freely among rhododendron, buki, wild apple blossoms, and native Himalayan flora, giving the honey its naturally distinctive aroma, colour, and rich texture. Collected in small batches and gently strained, it retains the character of its mountain origin.

Our story

From the remote highlands of Western Nepal, at elevations between 2,800–3,500 meters, comes a honey deeply shaped by the Himalayan landscape and the traditions of its people. In the mountain regions of Dolpa, Jajarkot, and Mugu, local communities have practiced seasonal wild honey harvesting for generations, guided by ancestral knowledge and respect for nature.

Harvested sustainably and processed to international quality standards, our Wild Himalayan Honey reflects the harmony between ancient tradition and untouched mountain ecosystems — a pure expression of the Himalayas in every jar.

In Nepal, honey is typically harvested twice a year—once in spring and once in autumn—primarily due to the country’s distinct seasonal weather patterns and its specific floral cycles

Floral Sources

Wild bees forage freely across pristine alpine landscapes rich in:

  • White Rhododendron
  • Red Rhododendron
  • Buki (Pearly Everlasting)
  • Wild Apple Blossoms
