Why Garima
Garima Organics began with journeys through Nepal’s remote mountain landscapes, seeking ingredients with a clear sense of place, traditional knowledge, and a human story. We work closely with the people who gather and prepare these ingredients, creating pathways for local livelihoods while keeping the knowledge and traditions surrounding them alive.
For us, a product is never just an ingredient. It carries the landscape it comes from, the hands that prepare it, and the knowledge passed down through generations. By bringing these products beyond their place of origin, we hope to create a connection between people, culture, and living landscapes while encouraging a more thoughtful way of sourcing from Nepal. That connection is at the heart of Garima.

The village that stayed with us
During a journey through Karnali in search of Himalayan shilajit, we reached Saijol, a village in Dolpa. It was the people we met there who stayed with us. Their resilience, humility, and deep connection to the mountains offered a glimpse into a way of life shaped by generations of knowledge, care, and respect for the land.
The village illustration found across Garima’s packaging is a tribute to Saijol and to the people and landscapes that have shaped the story of Garima. A place we visited. A story we carried home.
